2001 ENTERTAINING GUIDE Daniel et Daniel Catering & Event Planning Talk about the royal treatment. Prince Charles' last visit to Canada ended with a Toronto dinner catered by the Daniels (guests included Margaret Atwood and Premier Mike Harris). A sample of the evening's menus: hors d'oeuvres of bocconcini tapenade; clear, fresh Thai spring rolls; vegetarian sushi rolls; marinated shrimp; mini yellow pattypan squash with crab salad; crepes with smoked duck, arugula and red pepper. The main was a drool-worthy grilled Atlantic salmon in a tarragon sauce, and julienne vegetables served with long-stem baby carrots and steamed broccolini atop a wild rice and basmati pancake. For dessert, a lemon tart with raspberry coulis and fresh fruit garnish.
