Just to say thanks so much for catering last week on Nov 20th at the Aquarium for Manulife Financial and for making our event so special.

The tables & setup and ambiance looked and felt amazing, the food was especially wonderful. Our Managers raved about our event. Much, much thanks for making it a success.

My God you guys are sensational. I just don’t know who else in Canada can produce and deliver the first class catering that D&D does. You are simply the best!

As I walked one of the guests in to the event this year, Andre Picard from the Globe and Mail, he mentioned that one of the reasons that he looks forward to the Canada Gairdner Awards is the food. And while I should take exception to that being a reason to attend our event, I don’t. It is one of the largest compliments that we could receive. No “Rubber Chicken” for us, just fabulous first class cuisine! Your talented chefs, led by Vel Sivapragasam, are sheer geniuses.

Increasing the numbers, with the addition of the Rotunda seating, had me a little worried this year given our tight timelines, but it was needless. Your incredible service staff, led by Steven Creelman, delivered dinner in mere minutes and did it with a grace and style that is unrivaled.

Finally Russ, I would like to thank you for your incredible support over the past several months. We have been doing this event together for 6 years and it simply wouldn’t happen without your professionalism, your oversight, your creative talents and your keen eye for detail. You are such a pleasure to work with.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work for the launch event. The result was SPECTACULAR! So much went into the planning and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and expertise. We had such fabulous & amazing staff (but then You said it was so), and the set up and arrangements were sublime. It was such a Cinderella moment for me to see the Atrium looking so beautiful and then – after the strike, back to its old pumpkin self.

This was a real celebration that had many purposes and your personal attention to detail, the delicious food and the professional staff made the event way way over the top in curb appeal and class.

On behalf of the communications team I wanted to reach out and thank you for the wonderful job you did feeding our guests on Saturday night at the DGC Awards.

Everyone raved about everything from the appetizers to the dessert, and I was reminded of how delicious it was when we first tasted it.

It tasted even better the second time because the stakes felt so much higher.

A special thank you too for taking such good care of us, the staff, and serving us in our little refuge. It was like our own private party within a party and so relaxing and restorative, which we desperately needed.
